First some information about me. BIOS's can be very boring, so I will keep this
one short.
I'm Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. Most of my family is from Indy as far
back as anyone can remember. I am a retired Master Sergeant, United States Marine Corps. Most of my 23 year career
was spent overseas. The majority of that time in Asia. The Orient is where I developed an appreciation for oriental
art, especially Ukiyoe. I spent most of my Marine career as a Air Traffic Control Equipment Technician. I did many
other things, everyone in the Corps does.
My nickname "TopDog" came from my time in the USMC. It was started by
a friend of mine Dave Howard. I was a Master Sergeant and slang for that rank is "Top" a nickname for
Marines "DevilDog". So Dave combined the two and came up with TopDog. Thanks Dave.....
Not just a Marine. I had worked many part time jobs during the last 12 years of
my Marine experience. Along that line I did everything from being a state safety inspector in N.C. to managing
clubs in Okinawa, Japan. I even ran two computer repair sites for COMPAQ computers in Japan.
( its almost over really, keep going )
Most of my leisure time was spent clubbing and site seeing all over Asia. Now I
spend most of my spare time building web sites for people. Constructing, repairing and upgrading desktop computers
for free. Yes I said free. Someone needs a computer or work done on one. They bring their system to me. I give
them a parts list, they do the running around and purchasing parts, I do the work. Oh yes and my favorite thing
to do is give people advice. Also free, advice on software and desktop systems.
